How to Bet on Timecast | Timecast Betting

A Timecast bet is one of the most interesting markets for punters in that they let you to place a multiple bet on the team to score first goal, as well as the time period of first goal.

Time casts generally have four selections, two for each team. They are based the premise that a goal will be scored inside during a certain period in the game.

Looking at an example, Chelsea against West Bromwich Albion, the winning propositions would be represented by:

  • Chelsea to score the first goal up to and including minute 22 with odds 1.70
  • Chelsea to score the first goal after minute 22 with odds 1.70
  • Burnley to score the first goal up to and including minute 22 with odds 7.50
  • Burnley to score the first goal after minute 22 with odds 7.50

The odds of a time cast are based on various factors. The forms of the team, home advantage and form at home. Chelsea are a strong side in English and European football that has won a lot of trophies in recent years, WBA meanwhile are a mid-table side and not as experienced as their opponents.

This aspect, coupled with the fact that Chelsea are at home in Stamford Bridge means that the chances of them scoring the first goal are higher.  The odds on WBA to score the first goal are much higher as the possibility of such an outcome is lower.

However as always Football can surprise and you could have a situation whereby Chelsea decide to leave out key players with their eye on another game and WBA could score to surprise them.
